Membership
Club membership is open to anyone that
wishes to enjoy the sport of building, tuning and racing radio controlled
cars. The fees have been kept at a reasonable level to encourage
membership in the club yet sufficient to cover annual club expenses.
Active Membership
consists of 2 components:
1) Member Fees and
2) Member Participation
Seasonal (Spring or Fall) Membership
Fee (per person):
150 LE first driver
75 LE each additional driver from the same family
100 LE for students
Race Day Fees (per car):
10 LE per car for members
30 LE per car for non-members
Fees are charged to cover the operating
costs of the club including, track preparation and maintenance,
location fees, end of season trophies, transponder system, banners,
track maintenance tools, materials, jumps, pipes, sandbags and web
site fees.
Membership Participation:
Participation includes more than just showing up on race day and
racing your vehicle.
Minimum active member activities during RACE days includes:
assistance in setting up the track, marshalling for other races
when you are not racing, and tearing down the track and putting
the equipment away at the end of the day. In addition to the minimum standards
described above, members are encouraged to offer their talents in
other areas of the club. Everyone doing their part makes the club
a success.
Active Membership is Required to Score Points:
ALL members must pay their season fees to the Treasurer on or before
the first race day of the season in order to count points for the
season. Points will not be scored for races that have occurred prior
to dues being paid. In addition, the minimum participation
standard must be fullfilled to retain active member status.
If you want a run at the podium positions, get your fees paid by
the first race and assist the club during race day. Points for
the seasonal standings will not be scored for non-active members. |
