RACE Club History The club was founded in 2000, by R/C
car nuts Andy Goddard and his son Colin, who raced on-road gas and
electric touring cars in Atlanta Georgia as the "Alien Racing
Team" prior to transferring to Cairo. With the founder moving
from Cairo in the spring of 2005, the club has been actively picked
up by the current club members under the great coordination and effort
of John Klingler. |
RACE
Objectives
The main objective of the club is to promote the building, tuning
and racing of radio controlled cars in Cairo, Egypt. The club began
with electric on-road cars and has branched out into off-road truck
racing and nitro powered on-road cars and off-road trucks. Classes
of vehicles and race rules will be chosen to minimize expenditure,
in order to reach a wider group of potential racers. Finally
the club will attempt to help racers with the selection, purchasing
and import of kit cars and spare parts. |
